The LANG positioning-system ECO-STEP is a high-resolution stepping-motor-control for three axes equipped with 2/4 phase stepping motors. The dynamic micro step operation enables fast positioning movements with high accuracy. Standalone operation is possible in joystick-mode. Operation via serial nterface R232 - in combination with a PC - by the Windows software WIN-Commander. A unique feature of ECOSTEP is the reduction of thermal radiation due to pulse-width-modulated power amplifiers. Cooling fans are not required. This kind of positioning system is therefore perfectly suited for cleanroom applications. The ECO-STEP is also available as a double euroboard for integration in own systems.
The integration of the controller and power amplifiers in one compact housing, enables the setup of a cost-effective complete system.
